STITCHSTITCH war eine Schweizer Bands, welche den "Neue Deutsche Welle"-Stil in ihr Programm einbauten. Sänger Giovanni Dolci performte mit viel Herz und Schmerz in deutsch, englisch und italienisch, wobei sich auch der Rest der Band gekonnt in die Bühnenshow einbrachte und immer für Überraschungen sorgte, was auch auf der ersten «LP Gib ihm! 1982» zum Ausdruck kommt.Mit der 1984 hier veröffentlichten LP «Crashdance» prallen fünf verschiedene Charakter aufeinander und verschmelzen zu einer Einheit aus Musik, Tanz und Spass, angereichert mit einem gesunden Schuss Ironie. Sie bieten eine dynamische Liveshow, die sich beim Publikum einprägt. STITCH trieben ihr Handwerk intensiv und professionell voran, spielten Konzerte in der Schweiz, Holland, Deutschland, Dänemark, Italien und Frankreich; auf grossen Bühnen und in kleinen Clubs.
